Company history/background

Een tijdslijn tot zover:

  • 2015 - Dit verhaal begon in 2015, toen de eigenaresse van het merk, tijdens een trip naar Californie terecht kwam bij de meest gevierde foodtrucks van Californie. Tijdens het koken begon ze de cultuur en recepten te leren kennen en ontstond er de wens om deze smaken ook thuis in Amsterdam te creëren.
  • 2016 - Eenmaal terug in Amsterdam en geinspireerd door al die “Mexicaliforniaanse” smaken, begon ze haar gedurfde smaak te vertalen naar de eerste officiële hete sauzen.
  • 2017 - Het merk stond op foodfestivals met verse taco's en eigen salsa's. De meest populaire salsa’s zijn we vervolgens gaan doorontwikkelen tot houdbare sauzen met verse ingrediënten, zodat we ons klaarmaken voor het echte werk; detailhandel.
  • 2018 - Vanaf dag één wilden we onze sauzen toegankelijk maken qua “hot gehalte”. Elke hot sauce ging gepaard met een eigen karakter en branding. Lokale retailers werden fan en er werden diverse samenwerkingen aangegaan met o.a. Adidas en Ace & Tate.
  • 2022 - Na zes succesvolle jaren, onderging het merk een rebranding waarbij onze eigen unieke definitie van hot leidend werd: smaakgericht, optimistisch pikant en positief verslavend.

Unique selling points

Het merk is klaar om direct voort te worden gezet. Alle branding is in-check. De socials kent een actieve following en de online aanwezigheid is on-point. Tevens kan met de unieke propositie van het merk, direct onderscheid worden gemaakt in het schap. Dit heeft zich de afgelopen jaren bewezen.

In overleg kunnen de bestaande POS ook worden overgedragen zodat er direct een afzetmarkt toereikend is.
