Company history/background

The company started in 1999 by offering "Typing Skills and Word Processing" courses. From 2002 onwards, they began providing the courses as extracurricular activities in primary schools. The schools distribute our information to the parents, who then make reservations and pay directly through our website. Currently, the courses are offered in 30 schools annually. Most of the schools are located in NO-Twente, but we recently expanded to Nunspeet as well. These courses are taught by three typing instructors who are not employed by the company.

Company activities

We teach touch typing using the Blind 10-Finger System to children aged 10 and above in primary schools (30 schools) as an after-school group activity. Additionally, we sell an online typing skills course to children, adults, and businesses. These online typing courses can be taken with or without guidance.

Unique selling points

To ensure the recurring annual provision of the course to children in primary schools, the owners will support the buyer for 1 to 2 years in maintaining contact with the schools. The company continues to grow, but due to the owners reaching retirement age and having no succession plan, they have decided to sell.

The schools provide the necessary devices for the course, as the children already have their own devices at school. The annual revenue ranges between €75,000.00 and €85,000.00, with a gross/net profit margin of 65%. The asking price is €145,000.00. The instructors are not employed on a salaried basis.
