Company history/background
The property was used as an agricultural business for a long time and has been owned by the partners' family for a considerable period. At the time, no successor was available for the business, and agricultural activities ceased in 2005. Following the closure of the business, the property was renovated and modernized step by step, making it suitable for starting a small-scale care farm in 2011. The care farm was deliberately kept small-scale in order to ensure the client remains the central focus. It targets clients with low care needs. This primarily involves elderly people experiencing cognitive decline who require meaningful daily activities and social contact.
Company activities
At the care farm, various activities are offered, and attention is paid to the personal wishes of the participants. The care farm is located in a small residential area in Limburg. The former farmhouse has an authentic appearance but has been fully adapted to modern standards. Within this care farm, all possible aspects are present for an optimal daily routine.
Unique selling points
The business model, and consequently the strategic direction, is quite simple but very clear. The farm and the facilities form the heart of the enterprise. The target group is fairly clearly defined, primarily consisting of elderly people experiencing cognitive decline. Due to this choice, the organization of daily operations is straightforward. The range of activities is limited, and daily programs do not deviate significantly. Moreover, the opening hours—working days from 9 am to 4 pm—are very manageable.
Other
This concerns an asset transaction in which the property is also offered for acquisition.
