Company history/background
The (family) business has a long history (founded in 1918), but due to the lack of a successor, the company has decided to sell. The operating company (BV) is being offered for sale. This includes the machinery, inventory, goodwill, customer base, and various molds required for production. The company has its own building, which is held by a separate BV. Sale of the building is negotiable.
Company activities
We develop, manufacture, and sell custom-made suitcases for business/professional clients. In addition to custom work, we offer a standard range of suitcases, which often serves as the starting point for customized solutions. We consider ourselves a front-and-back company: we translate the customer's request into a feasible solution, outsource some of the work to specialized suppliers and sheltered workshops, and handle the final assembly in-house, ensuring we always have control over the final result. The company is ISO-9001/2015 certified. Currently, the company employs seven permanent employees, one temporary worker, and the director/owner.
Unique selling points
Revenue, between €1.2 and €1.5 million over the past three years, is largely generated in Germany. The company has achieved modestly positive results during this period. In Germany, it has collaborated with several partners for many years. Growth opportunities lie primarily in the Dutch market and within the standard product range.
