The care institution operates based on a green philosophy. The care institution has existed for over 15 years, is located in the North of the Netherlands, and provides the following care services: 24-hour supported living, (mental health) day care and activities, and learning and work programs.
Company activities
- The clients of the care institution have a background in psychological, intellectual, or social vulnerability.
- 70% of the contracted care concerns WLZ (Long-Term Care Act) based on PGB (Personal Budget).
- 30% of the contracted care concerns WMO (Social Support Act) in combination with customized care through the municipality.
- In total, there are 14 employees (8.2 FTE) on staff, and use is made of a flexible pool of 7 freelancers. All employees and freelancers are senior and have extensive work and life experience.
- The real estate and related assets are managed and owned in-house.
Unique selling points
The care institution is strongly established locally. Municipalities and the like (care recipients) benefit from the care institution being able to develop further.
Other
For the intended transaction, we assume a bid based on enterprise value (cash and debt-free) as of July 1, 2025. The real estate is preferably part of the intended transaction, based on a market-based valuation and appraisal. An earn-out structure and/or (seller's) loan is not preferred. The selling party is available for the transfer for a period and consideration to be determined later. The buying party must possess sufficient size in terms of business volume, personnel, and financial resources to finance the acquisition.
The Director-Major Shareholder has reached retirement age and there is no direct internal succession.
The healthcare institution is ready to grow further and more broadly under the umbrella of another player that can further scale up the specific expertise.
