Company history/background
Company activities
The company operates as an educational care farm and day care facility for children with behavioral issues who drop out of the school system and have a (temporary) exemption from compulsory education. The work involves supervisors helping children, within a fixed structure involving basic and additional tasks, to develop social behavior within a group dynamic. The goal is to reintegrate them into the school system within the foreseeable future. The success rate of the treatments is approximately 95%. Other care activities consist of day care for (young) adults and the guidance of children.
The children are referred for care through municipalities and schools. Day care activities fall under the Youth Act. Contracts and financial flows are channeled through a foundation. Occasionally, the care provided is paid for via a personal budget.
The business activities are conducted through an operating company. The organization consists of a team of five employees and a self-employed professional. The employees provide one-on-one guidance, but in a group setting. The managing director is involved full-time and works partly on the shop floor.
Unique selling points
The company operates in a niche and is the only one doing so in the province.
Other
The proposed transaction concerns the sale of 100% of the shares of the company and the associated assets from a group company. Overname in bedrijf holds a full sales mandate. Based on an NDA, an information memorandum is available upon serious interest.
The asking price for the shares (cash and debt free) is €550,000. This excludes the real estate.
This transaction is strategically interesting for other healthcare companies. It could also be an interesting proposition for an MBI candidate with the necessary knowledge, experience, and capital.
