Water Insight offers hand-held (WISP-3) and fixed position (WISPstation) optical instruments and Earth Observation information services for more cost-effective digital water quality monitoring enabling real time mitigation actions. We are raising capital to realize our scale-up roadmap.

Unique selling points

The benefits of the WISPstation autonomous fixed position instrument are both financial and intangible: The WISPstation is the only technology that provides accurate, high-frequent EWQ data to water managers to take timely take actions. It delivers near-real time water quality information, with a sampling rate of 15 minutes and we estimate it to be at least 30% more cost-efficient than other online monitoring devices because it is the only non-contact instrument and there fore uniquely insensitive to bio-fouling. It is at least 40% more cost-efficient than manual sampling and laboratory analysis. The backend WISPcloud delivers the data automatically and directly into the users’ systems. We have freedom to operate, our methods are company secret and we are preparing a patent application.

Our innovation measures above water, combines high quality monitoring at specific locations with satellite monitoring (the big picture) producing real time results. Businessmodel We offer instrument sale- and lease options and/or subscriptions to instrument- and satellite EWQ data.

We already sold 25 WISP-3 instruments, 5 WISPstations, 4 WISPstation leases, 20+ pilots and 6 satellite services.
