Company history/background
Heat supply, soil improver, nutrition (feed / food) and energy (electricity)
The company concerned develops, operates, and leases breeding units (insects), based on the processing of validated combinations of organic residual streams, which are always sourced and processed locally.
Company activities
Residual streams from market gardeners, farmers, and other food producers
Operational breeding units:
- supply heat back to the suppliers of residual streams (and thereby significantly reduce the annual CO2 emissions of the parties concerned),
- provide new insights into optimizing insect feed (professionalization of insect farms),
- produce a suitable soil conditioner that can be easily applied in agriculture, horticulture, and the private market,
- generate high-quality protein-rich food (meat substitutes) primarily for animals (animal feed) and, at a later stage, also for human consumption,
- generate energy (electricity) and allow excess energy to flow back into the producer of the residual streams.
